Cellulosic Fuel Project Assessment for Biofuels Company
TEP completed a biomass-to-fuel feasibility study for a biofuels company exploring project development sites in Northern California. We provided primary research, capturing key data in the areas of permitting, political implications, feedstock choice, supply chain economics, market evaluation and project finance. TEP continues to work with this particular client, leading its efforts in feedstock selection and corporate development.
Bioenergy Business Plan Development for Natural Latex Business
TEP developed an expansion strategy and business plan for
an industrial agriculture/medical device company, building on existing product
lines which involved expanding its refining capacity to serve the bioenergy industry.
The project identified clear processes for lowering costs associated with existing
product categories and using waste materials as a feedstock for bioenergy. Accounting
for the company's expansion into bioenergy allowed it to justify an increase
in its own valuation.
